What is Computer Aided Design
The use of computer software to digitally create 2D drawings or 3D models of real products helping to visualize product construction, before fabricating it.
What will you be doing on this course?
You will be guided to:
- Understand the significance of CAD
- Identify and select appropriate CAD software for your application
- Set up and use CAD, to create different 3-dimensional designs (3D)
- Use designs made in digital fabrication
How long does the course take
Course Duration is 3Months, with a Mandatory 150 Hours for Instructor – Trainee Contact Hours
Who qualifies for the training
We maintain training group sizes of a maximum of 5 participants to make sure everyone gets enough one-on-one support from the tutor where necessary.
Anyone 16 years and above with a basic computer skill can register onto the course, enrolment sessions will be arranged to complete registration paperwork prior to the course beginning
